Outdoor Industry Web Design

Websites for hunting, fishing, conservation, and tactical brands with a purpose.

Design, build, hosting, and the ongoing work to keep it earning. Built by people who hunt and fish, for owners who are tired of a site that gets compliments and no orders.

Knife Brand - Shopify - E-commerce

Rapid River Knifeworks

Turned to an e-commerce powerhouse. A tactical knife brand came to us with a dated website from the early 2000's. We started with a look at what consumers want to see. High quality blades & the details that matter. Built on shopify, this e-com store was made to scale with upsells, automated flows, customer accounts, & more.

NWTF Indiana State Chapter

Brought a state chapter into the current decade. NWTF Indiana needed a site that looked like the national brand but actually lived in Indiana. We laid out state chapter info, events, and a full resource library, then added a chapter locator so members find their local group and a clean handoff to national for memberships. Built in WordPress so volunteer board members can run it themselves.

Dog Safety Gear · Shopify · E-Commerce

GunDog Outdoors

Built a store that teaches before it sells. GunDog came to us with a patented safety system most hunters had never seen, and that is a hard thing to move off a product photo. We built a video library and an education section into the store itself, then structured the collections around the problem instead of the product. Shopify, with verified military and first responder discounts.

Hunting Outfitter · Wordpress

Dos Hermanos Ranch

Made the ranch look like the ranch. Dos Hermanos runs 4,500 acres of whitetail and dozens of exotic species in Texas, and a trophy hunt gets bought on feel long before anybody asks about price. We built it photo first, gave every species its own place instead of burying them in a list, and put the booking inquiry in front of people at the point they're already sold.

Taxidermy Supply · Shopify · Trade & Retail

Champions Choice Supply

The hardest catalog on this page. A taxidermist shops two ways: everything for a mallard, or every ear liner across every species. So the store runs both at once, 52 collections deep, with seventeen waterfowl species broken out on their own because a bufflehead head is not a goldeneye head. Bulk pricing built in for shop level orders.

Website FAQ's

Common Questions from Outdoor Business Owners

Outdoor brand websites are digital storefronts for your business.

How much does a new website cost?

It depends on how many pages you need and whether you're selling products. A brochure site for a guide service is a different job than a store with four hundred SKUs. Each business is different & may require plug-ins, add ons, & custom elements that fit your brand & goals. We quote the whole thing up front after one conversation.

Do we own the site, or are we renting it from you?

You own it. The domain is in your name, the content is yours, and if you ever leave, you leave with the site. We've seen too many outdoor brands find out the hard way that their agency owned the domain.

Can we update it ourselves?

Yes, and you should be able to. Season changes, a product drop, a hunt that sold out. Those are five minute changes and you shouldn't have to email anybody to make them. We hand off the site with a walkthrough so your team can run it.

Do you build on Shopify?

For anyone selling physical product, usually yes. It handles inventory, shipping, and payments without us building any of that from scratch, and it plugs straight into Meta and Google so your ads can actually report what sold. For guide services, outfitters, and brands that aren't selling online, we build on a platform that fits what you actually need.

What about hosting, domains, and the SSL certificate?

Included and handled. Domain registration, hosting, the security certificate, and ongoing maintenance are part of what we do. You don't need to know what any of that means or manage it yourself.

How long does a build take?

Most sites take four to six weeks from kickoff to launch. The part that decides the timeline is almost never us. It's how fast we get photos, product information, and feedback back from you. Brands that stay on top of that launch on the early end.

We already have a site. Does it need to be rebuilt, or just fixed?

Sometimes it just needs fixed. If the bones are good and the problem is speed, structure, or the fact that it isn't tracking anything, that's a smaller job than a rebuild and we'll tell you so. Send us the URL and we'll look at it before you pay us anything.

Send us the site you have now.

We'll go through it and tell you what we'd change, whether it needs a rebuild or just a few fixes, and what it would cost either way. No charge and no obligation. If the site is in decent shape, we'll tell you that too.
